Preta’s Latest Update Brings A Change In Business Model

Preta: Vendetta Rising, the mobile action RPG turned VR action RPG, has seen a significant price drop. The game, which was previously $34.99, now costs only $9.99. But that’s not the only change that the game’s business model has seen. All options for purchasing currency with real money have been removed. Instead, players can now purchase Dark Diamonds with RP Points, which can in turn be used to purchase Companion Tickets. Additionally, all Early Access players have been given 300 Companion Tickets.

The update also changes the way that Boss Raids work. Boss Raids can now only be played on Normal difficulty and the boss type switches every day at 11 PM PDT / 2 AM EDT. They no longer require Raid Tickets, instead offering unlimited entries. The Raid Boss AI is also said to have been improved and players now have 20 minutes to complete raids, rather than only five minutes.

You can find the full set of patch notes here. Preta: Vendetta Rising is now available on Steam for $9.99. Despite primarily being a VR action RPG, it can be played without a VR headset.
