It’s official; Deadly Premonition: The Board Game will be happening later this year. The Kickstarter campaign for the board game adaptation of cult classic action adventure Deadly Premonition was fully funded in only 8 hours and 14 minutes.
Of course, as with all Kickstarter campaigns, the campaign doesn’t stop there. With a full 28 days left, the campaign has raised a total of $84, 991 as of this writing, unlocking stretch goals for four additional Action Cards, two additional Weather Conditions, and “unique artwork for paired cards.” The next stretch goal at $90,000 will allow the creators to include “Guide Cards,” which would be “used for portable play.”
As the first Kickstarter campaign that I’ve backed, I’m rather happy to see that it is doing so well. If you’d also like to back Deadly Premonition: The Board Game, you can do so here. A pledge of $30 or more will net you one Standard Edition of the game, which is set to ship this December, and one Steam copy of Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut.
